What can I expect during a FaceTite procedure?
The FaceTite procedure is performed under local anesthesia with sedation. After the patient is numb and has been medications, a small hole is made in the skin under the chin and under each earlobe, where they are not able to be seen. The FaceTite probe is then inserted under the skin to provide thermal energy precisely in the subdermal layer of the face and neck. The probe and the electrode work in unison to create a contained thermal field that simultaneously targets the outer and inner layers of the skin for a comprehensive treatment. The FaceTite device slowly moves along the jawline, liquefying fat and contracting the collagen and elastin in the skin along the way. Liposuction under the chin is performed with the majority of treatments, depending on the needs of the patient.
