What Is Daxxify?

Daxxify is an injectable frown line treatment and a popular alternative to treatments like BOTOX, Xeomin, and Jeuveau. Like those treatments, Daxxify is made using the neurotoxin botulinum toxin type A, which works by temporarily blocking the signals between your nerves and your facial muscles. This prevents the muscles from contracting, which causes the corresponding skin to become smooth and firm, gently softening the appearance of glabellar lines.

What sets Daxxify apart from other neurotoxin treatments is its use of peptides. Every frown line treatment is formulated with an ingredient meant to stabilize the neurotoxin, and for most treatments, this ingredient is a human or animal byproduct. The Daxxify Procedure

At our medical spa, your Daxxify treatment will be a quick and simple procedure. To begin, one of our injectors will apply a topical anesthetic to your skin in the targeted area. They will then use a very fine needle to inject Daxxify into your facial muscles, where it will begin working to halt muscle contractions and smooth your frown lines. Once the treatment is finished, you’ll be able to head home immediately.

Daxxify Recovery and Aftercare

You shouldn’t need to worry about any recovery downtime after your Daxxify treatment. Most patients can immediately return to work and jump back into their normal routines. However, to ensure quality results and prevent any unpleasant side effects, you’ll want to avoid strenuous physical activity for at least 24 hours. You’ll also need to avoid scratching or rubbing your injection sites for several days.
