The first step of the Keralase procedure is the Ultra Laser treatment. During this part of the treatment, the targeted area(s) of your scalp will be treated with the 1927 nm-wavelength Ultra Laser, which creates tiny microchannels in the scalp. Treatment with the Ultra Laser will help your scalp effectively absorb the serum that’s delivered in the second step of the treatment.

Step Two - KeraFactor Serum Treatment

During the next step of the Keralase treatment, your provider will gently massage a powerful KeraFactor Serum into your scalp, specifically targeting the areas where you’re seeking increased hair growth. This serum features a proprietary blend of synthetic growth factors and proteins, which will help to stimulate your hair follicles, leading to the growth of thicker, more luscious hair.

What Is the Recovery Like?

How many Keralase treatments will I need?

To achieve optimal hair growth results, you’ll need to undergo at least six Keralase treatment sessions spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart. Your provider will work with you to create a treatment schedule that best matches your situation and goals.

How long does each treatment session take?

Usually, each Keralase treatment session should only take around 20 minutes to complete.

How soon will I start to see results?

Most patients start to notice increased hair growth only two to four weeks after their first Keralase treatment. However, you usually won’t see the final results until anywhere from two weeks to three months after your final treatment session.

Are there any side effects?

The only possible side effects of Keralase treatment are very minor; you may experience some scalp redness from the laser treatment as well as a mild stinging sensation for a day or two after the procedure.
